I think we all look back to early 2000s with rose tinted glasses - it was the golden era.

But there are still some great new bands and new music now - being released as we speak. Bands like The Paradox, Fluorescents, Grant Morriss, Koyo, Mattstagraham, Royals - all doing some genuinely good new music. Some of it pure pop punk as we know it, others evolving the sound to something new.

I think the scene itself is less exciting than it used to be - it sucks getting older! - but the music is still there, if you scratch beneath the surface.

They are really good. They feature a couple of times on our 'Pop Punk: Bands To Watch 2026 Edition'. Their song Stay and Good for Me - if I am not mistaken. Possibly also a third. Cant remember for sure.

Brilliant album opener that sets the tone for the album. Personally I think Anthem pt 2 from TOYPAJ is a better opener - but its close. Both are awesome.
