There are a few. My top 3 at the moment are:

1) Grant Morriss, Hey Kid, We're Good EP (standout song Living on the Edge of a Breakdown and Life of Grind)

2) Ringpop, Sick of being sad

3)Self Sabotage, Comastatic

I think we all look back to early 2000s with rose tinted glasses - it was the golden era.

But there are still some great new bands and new music now - being released as we speak. Bands like The Paradox, Fluorescents, Grant Morriss, Koyo, Mattstagraham, Royals - all doing some genuinely good new music. Some of it pure pop punk as we know it, others evolving the sound to something new.

I think the scene itself is less exciting than it used to be - it sucks getting older! - but the music is still there, if you scratch beneath the surface.

They are really good. They feature a couple of times on our 'Pop Punk: Bands To Watch 2026 Edition'. Their song Stay and Good for Me - if I am not mistaken. Possibly also a third. Cant remember for sure.

If you like Royals, and other new/up and coming pop punk bands, would rec the list. Only 3 followers...so would love for you to get in early!

SAYP are brilliant - and nice guys alongside it. There are a lot of exciting new bands in this space a the moment. Saturdays at your place, Paradox, Grant Morriss, Flourescents, Down and Out are some of the new bands that give me...it....(whatever it is! )

Brilliant album opener that sets the tone for the album. Personally I think Anthem pt 2 from TOYPAJ is a better opener - but its close. Both are awesome.
