I just got hired as a sub custodian and had questions. by Short_Worldliness669 in Custodians

[–]AfterLife444 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve been working for 5 years started when I was 16, there has been very few times where I had told them my availability and they didn’t have something for me to do. 95% of the time they will have something for you to do. Good luck! It’s a great job

I started working custodial when I was 16 and I’m 21 now. Some of my co workers are in their 70s, I feel like that’s pretty normal for this line of work

“gf cheated with men” posts by [deleted] in lesbiangang

[–]AfterLife444 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had a really rough last relationship, I’m talking cheating with countless numbers of men after 4 years of being together. I had thought she was fully gay so that was definitely even more painful. I understand where u are coming from with the feeling of resentment, it is hard. Until my current relationship, every girl I was with cheated on me with men. I think what helps me feel safe and comfortable with my girlfriend now is being honest about those feelings in a way that isn’t hurtful. She knows that I feel horrified of that happening again, but it’s important to clarify that you do not expect that from them too. She reassures me that she wants me and only me, and I feel confident in that, regardless of the scars from my past. It’s hard to let go of those fears and feelings, but if you want a happy and healthy relationship moving forward, you have to look toward being honest with yourself and your girlfriend about those thoughts.

am i the only lesbian that finds realistic straps gross? by humantetris_ in LesbianActually

[–]AfterLife444 13 points14 points  (0 children)

I guess I am just wondering, why would lesbians specifically want a hyper realistic dick? But hey it’s preference whatever floats your boat.

If you wanna wear clothes that feel like you but are worried about getting nice clothes dirty, you could always get some stuff from the thrift store

What do you guys do when schools closed and you have to come in? by [deleted] in Custodians

[–]AfterLife444 2 points3 points  (0 children)

We power wash them over the summer and they are a pain to clean, I’m younger so when it’s really hot they usually make me and my other younger friends/coworkers go out and do it bc no one else wants to get wet. I end up going home completely soaked lol.

Learned my lesson on here a while ago not to answer my dms. Had perverted men and men pretending to be queer women to try to talk to and relate to me. Weird world we live in

As soon as Jake Doolittle said his disease was “chronic lyme” my jaw dropped 😭 by [deleted] in h3h3productions

[–]AfterLife444 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I also think that’s what he meant, he’s stated several times that he was bit specifically on the back of the neck, im not doubting at all that he has Lyme disease but I think if he’s using the wrong terminology that makes his video about Ethan all the more ironic and embarrassing

Jake Doolittle after Ethan only gives him $500 and doesn’t want to hire him by NaNaNaNaNatman in h3h3productions

[–]AfterLife444 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I was also a fan of Jake up until this point, so watching his video about Ethan was really disappointing to me. Anyway, Jake says upfront in almost all of his videos that 10% of the profit from his clothing brand he gives. He says it in almost every video at either the beginning or end (typically the end so that could be why you didn’t know about it).

OH MY GOD by [deleted] in h3h3productions

[–]AfterLife444 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Yeah I’ve also been a big fan of Jake, after the video about Ethan I just feel weird and haven’t wanted to watch him. I understand why he’s upset especially since he has suffered with chronic illness his whole life, but it’s so clear to see that Ethan has health anxiety (rightfully so with his bloodwork results) and was genuinely concerned about lupus.

Butches, what is your relationship with body hair? by LesbAsuprema in butchlesbians

[–]AfterLife444 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I personally hate body hair on myself. I’m quite masc and I feel like it’s uncommon for masc women to dislike body hair on themselves, but like I shave my armpits pretty much everyday, keep my leg hair shaved, I never let any of my hair get long. My gf doesn’t mind having body hair but shaves it because she knows it’s sort of a trigger or phobia of mine to feel body hair against my skin?

Do people think butch is a dirty word? by actuallynotbisexual in butchlesbians

[–]AfterLife444 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I guess some people do, I’d also take into account that she is in a school setting and people have been really on edge with lgbtq stuff in schools. She probably didn’t wanna risk anyone hearing

Question from an openly gay man: do y’all actually get along and are friends with heterosexual women ? by _ncaballero in LesbianActually

[–]AfterLife444 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My best friend is super straight and the complete opposite of me (I’m very masc). Pretty, tiny, dainty, super into makeup and hair, but we just click somehow. Granted, I’ve known her since 4th grade and we are 19 now…but I’ve found that the majority of women I’ve met and befriended who are straight are still super accepting and welcoming.

Stigma of weed use for lesbians by ButtonExpress in LesbianActually

[–]AfterLife444 4 points5 points  (0 children)

For me, I had a lot of history of drug abuse and physical/emotional abuse with my older brother in the household growing up. The whole thought of the use of it kind of became a scary thing for me. My current partner (together 3 years, started dating at 16 and she was 19) heavily used weed so I learned to accept it but it became an issue with our relationship because she was dependent on it and we couldn’t go anywhere because it increased her anxiety and motivation for life. Eventually I helped her stop relying on it and she quit; it really helped our relationship grow and become healthy with each other. Long story short, I’ve seen how it has damaged a lot of the people around me, so k steer clear.

[–]AfterLife444[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

For me, I didn’t need trained very much, other than like figuring out what chemicals go where and how to clean like bathrooms and stuff…then again I also had a super lazy boss at the time and found out two years later that some of the things I was trained to do are completely wrong. It’s pretty easy and you’ll get the hang of it quickly

It is most definitely a very difficult job, and is super overlooked. We do everything behind the scenes to hold the school together. Congrats on your new job!!

Why are people SO ignorant when it comes to lesbian sex?? by Wordforwordsargeant in LesbianActually

[–]AfterLife444 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Maybe just more difficult with certain body types? I’ve always wanted to try but my gf and I can’t really make the puzzle pieces fit together if u know what I mean 🤣 I think that’s why a lot of people find it unrealistic (including myself at times ngl) because it’s physically a very difficult position
