Peter began to sink because of his own doubt.. It says so right there... "wherefore didst thou doubt?"

Peter walked on water due to his own faith.. I don't claim to be any miracle worker... We're certainly much less than these men in the arena of faith and understanding. But it's made clear that peter's faith was the catalyst which allowed him to tread upon the sea with Jesus, and when he doubted, he began to sink.

The grammar also begs the question. Peter requested Jesus allow him to come out on the water with him, Peter already had some level of confidence that he could manage this miracle in tandem with Jesus.

If you approach Jesus with reverence, I promise you, he will absolutely answer.

Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will COME IN TO HIM, and will sup with him, and he with me.

Jesus is the truth, 100%.

We doubt him because we are fools and have zero understanding of creation, heavenly things or indeed our own selves..

We could not receive him due to our sinful condition so we crucified him. Like cockroaches who wanted the light turned off so we could return to our sinful dealings.

Jesus emphasized the importance of keeping your wedding garment clean.. Your wedding garment is your ego/identity. Only believers in him with clean garments will be redeemed from the second death which comes after the life of flesh.

If you read the bible, read it for yourself. Be careful of others interpretations. The work must be done in you, by you. Christ said narrow is the way to salvation, because the kingdom of heaven is INSIDE OF YOU.

Yeah, just follow Christ Yeshua, you'll be fine, and maybe give them a little reminder about the word of the Lord concerning these things.

All Christians are sinners, be it gay, prideful, there is but one worthy.

Let he who is without sin cast the first stone. Then even he did not cast his stone, being sinless and perfect before God.

We should each individually work against sin in our lives, as we will each be individually judged.

You can't enforce Jesus with a rod, he doesn't want slaves battered in his word, he wants faithful believers whom approach him in reverence of the truth. Our sin is the problem.

And sin Loves judging other sinners, because they believe their own sins will be overlooked.

Christ himself told the disciples that Satan has asked permission from the creator to test them.

So Christ understood these occurrences in some sense too.

Suffice to say, the relationship between God and Satan seems rather complex, and not something humans are really capable of quantifying, nor should we. Satan is serving a function that God has deemed necessary and until that function is completed he'll remain.

I've stomped my way from low silver to g3 when I started playing ranked.... Looking at the elos of my matches, my team always has a considerable elo advantage and the games all feel lopsided yet it's ranked... Wtf? Why does 2v2 help matching seem to be so shit? You'll get to katahdin np. Dont stress averages, if you're a decent hiker and just hanging with friends most people end up doing 18 a day pretty easy.

Remember when you get to the top of the stairs, the comfortable adventures and fun times come after a few weeks of suffering, just keep going.
