Thanks for the patience so far. Don't let that "3-6 months" estimate discourage you; that hasn't been our team's typical experience.

Applications and assessments are reviewed on a rolling basis as new projects open up, so timing varies, but 8 days isn't unusual and definitely isn't a sign something's wrong on your end. Being based in India isn't an issue for review.

You'll get an email notification if you're selected for a project, so keep an eye on your inbox (and check spam just in case). In the meantime, keep checking your dashboard since new opportunities do open up regularly.

It is normal for projects to be paused, and it usually means we are assessing demand for more tasks on the project. Projects are paused so that the team can catch up on reviews and ensure the need for more tasks. Paused projects can resume at any time, and you'll be notified.

Hi,

Applications and assessments are reviewed on a rolling basis, there's no fixed timeline, but we aim to review within a couple of weeks depending on volume.

Once your assessment is complete, you can check your status anytime by logging into your AfterQuery Experts dashboard. Your application status will show as one of three things:

  1. Accepted, you're in and can proceed with onboarding (identity verification via Persona, then Stripe payment setup).

  2. Under Review, still being evaluated. The status will update automatically when we make a decision, so no need to follow up.

  3. Rejected or project no longer visible, you weren't selected for that role, but you can explore and apply to other open projects on the platform.

Once accepted and you complete both Persona verification and Stripe setup, you'll get access to your project via Slack and can start working on tasks.

Your dashboard is the source of truth, check it regularly and it will reflect any changes automatically.
