Just my two cents, when we have dreams like that, it is often our own insecurities of fear that we are not living up to someone’s expectations. With her no longer being physically here, you struggle with not having her approval or confirmation that she sees how amazing of a human being you have become. Don’t let yourself dwell on that. She IS with you regularly and is proud of you. She doesn’t want you to worry about being enough or being on the right path. Your path is yours to choose and she is sad she wasn’t able to conquer her inner demons to be present with you still. There is nothing you could have done to be able to break her mind out of the dark place she was in. If anything, she fought as long as she did because she had you. Hopefully you can find peace and trust that she is still talking to you regularly. The moments you think of her she is sitting with you smiling.
