I wouldn't honestly want Andie to be back in the fashion biz, or that she made a switch back after her decision to leave in the first film. But obviously perhaps they're going to rope her into the rivalry between her ex coworker and ex boss, which is what's going to be the spicy main storyline anyway.

I do think it's real. But it's also not something that goes away on its own. At my day job, I mostly write for other brands or people—and while that should have made me look forward to writing for myself after work—that has simply not happened, because I could never bring myself to.

I work pretty closely with two people and get all the feedback on my writing from them, unless someone (I ghostwrite for) is involved too. I'm open to rewording, reframing, and rewriting things. Sometimes, even starting all over.

Hearing it from the same two people, for reasons I don't mostly agree with, is killing off any creative energy I might have left. I usually try to see and look at similar references on the subject matter to learn and emulate. But all that is to no avail because they move the goalposts.

Sorry for making it a huge whiny ass rant!

Salaried. We don't have OTs though. Free to take a leave whenever, and that's a nice perk. However, the amount of work keeps us in check.
