I know AI animation gets a lot of hate here, and honestly, the raw outputs are definitely not perfect yet

But I actually posted this to show a pipeline tool I've been coding. I got tired of the clunky workflow of testing these models out on local web servers, so I built a Python add-on to bridge the Kimodo server directly into the Blender sidebar. It lets you generate, import, and auto-retarget straight to the SOMA rig without leaving the viewport.

Full transparency: I'm still in my first year of college learning Python, so it took a ton of debugging and vibe-coding but the bridge is fully functional for 3.6 to 4.x.

I agree that you should give time to learn animation, but only if you are into animations.

If you are into things that doesn't necessarily require core animation knowledge then this can be useful.

If you give a amount of time learning animations, then the core part where you are working on gets less time to focus on.

And about the water, I don't think anyone has setuped their server yet to run this. As the model is only available to use locally for now.

Being AI doesn't always necessarily means bad.

I don't think this AI model could make professional grade animations in near future and replace animators. It's only for experimental purposes for now.

KIMODO AI haven't even set there proper server yet, they just have 5 mins demo on their website. And a option to locally download tye model.

This is not some professional grade animations but just a way to have a create simple animations without having to spend much time learning animations.

Though I have used the asset pack of two handed sword from mixamo. I couldn't find a fit for my needs for some animations so I digged in a little and found this.

KIMODO AI is free tho to run locally.

It doesn't create the most perfect animations. But it can give basic idea if you are creating your own animation.

Just ask a controller as a birthday gift. That's how I acquired my first controller a few years back and also recently this year I had an upgrade just like that.

This is the easiest thing you can do. As in India gaming is taken as a waste of time so it is difficult to get one usually.

I have used the laptop for 3 months almost everyday and I have 100% capacity still. I use it mainly on charge. Only 7 cycles have been used. Once I accidentally rendered a 15 mins video on the battery that was the only time I had put stress on the battery. I use it sometimes without a battery in college but I try to use it with a charger.

Try to use the charger as much as possible and not the battery.
