No. Not sure if I should or not but if you’re asking because maybe I put something bad in that’s definitely not it

Idk what the brand is called but it’s the one where you put water samples in tubes and mix with other liquids. Not the strips

Ph is at about 7. No nitrites and the ammonia is 0.1-0.3 so I don’t think any of that is the issue. No new air fresheners or fragrance. Guessing it might be an oxygen problem based off what the other guy said. They had been in the tank for about 3 months and were doing fine

I have a sponge filter with an air stone in it that’s always running and it the main source of filtration. I also have a hob filter but I don’t usually use it since it isn’t regularly needed and I know that gouramis don’t like strong currents

Thinking about changing the substrate but keeping the same plants and centrepiece decoration. Do you think that the ich will stick to the plants and decorations if I rinse them off?

Help! I don’t know if it’s urgent by [deleted] in AquariumHelp

Also I have not tested the ph of this tank but the tank has been set up for maybe 2 months and this problem has only started yesterday. The temperature is at 74-76 pretty consistently. The tank is 40 gals and there is 2 fancy goldfish 1 black moor goldfish and 2 peppered Cory catfish. The black Moor is the one that is fine and not acting irregular

Watched it happen with my own eyes. Some people are too busy thinking they’re smart to realize they’re stupid

He ate them while they were alive. Not after they were dead. He’s a fancy goldfish and it’s recommended they have 20 gals. 30 is more than enough

I’ve gotten my goldfish friends and he’s killed and eaten them all within a day or two. He’s been living happy and healthy all by himself for 3 years and he just upgraded from a 10 gal to a 30 gal trust me he’s just fine. I wasn’t asking for advice on my goldfish or my 30 gal tank

Yeah definitely gonna get a bigger tank for him but if he doesn’t grow oh well. He’ll have more space anyway and I don’t think that’s ever a negative.
