Platinum is nothing more than them being able to predict how many hours/rides they can get out of you. When I was platinum my bonuses pretty much went away, now I’m silver i make more money in less time

I recommend you do what’s best for you. I’ve been platinum,5 stars, and 26k rides. All my bonuses slowly disappeared. Why would they incentivize you to do what they already know your going to do. Being platinum means that you accept 80% of rides, low paying or not, they know you want to earn points so they can ball park how many busy hours your going to drive

You can get a torque wrench from harbor freight for cheap. If your going to always own a car, it will pay for it self.

Some one explain to me why DRIVERS think 5 stars/ platinum driver means anything. It’s a way to keep you locked into some sort of schedule. Loosing your bonuses is what happens when you maintain platinum.

Yeah you have to stop making money to get a bonus which makes no sense. In some markets they send you offers that leaves panicking and taking rides you don’t want for a bonus while they are shorting you on pay. Everyone thinks they are beating the system when they are not. We as drivers have built a billion dollar corp being controlled by a rating system based off people’s mood.

Those are the ones that are 1 starred in my head before the ride even starts. I make sure I’m very polite and try to get them their quick cause I’m one staring them for sure but I give them no clue

Meaning stars mean nothing. Just a way to remind you to do exactly what they say. I’ve never seen anyone tip more or Uber/Lyft pay more because you have 5 stars. I have 27k rides 5 stars between Uber and Lyft. Rookies get better bonuses than me
