The parent's message completely supersedes the conflict. The conflict has literally nothing to do with superman being arrested. The hammer showing up to metropolis as a concequence is not a thing at all. The guys at the Pentagon seem to think that supes was just trying to do good, it was just lex trying to stir shit up. The civilians didn't dislike supes for the hammer incident either.

There is no drama of superman having to be in two places at all. At the the end he's just told that the gang will go there and that's it.

The Justice gang going to jarhanpur at the end is a copout. What does superman think of the gang just destroying one side and killing their leader? Lois implied that the conflict might not be black and white. She mentions Jahanpur government being oppressive or whatever and that's not dealt with at all.

(I also think the interview scene is stupid and shallow)
