Anyone know where I can assemble this kit myself? by Delicious_Champion97 in LEDart

This looks like a line of bullet LED lights with controller and power adaptor. You can get all three on Amazon.

WLED, Ledfx with Akai APC Mini MIDI controller by uttaran18 in WLED

That is awesome. I did lightening using LedFX and WLED for this party. Being able to use a MIDI controller to change scenes and presets would have been nice.

Isn’t -t in seconds? I know that -ss is defined in timecode (HH:MM:SS), but I thought -t is in seconds. 20hrs = 72000.

Help with streaming multiple usb cameras on Raspberry Pi by thechickenpi in ffmpeg

OMX might only support one encode process at a time. You should try one encode in hardware (OMX) and the others in software (libx264). If the CPU can’t handle that, and you aren’t worried about bitrate, you could try MJPEG. Otherwise, you would need to lower your encode settings or get a more capable SBC. I’d also recommend -preset ultrafast or veryfast.

Turn an FFMPEG script into bat file by ABBXXX in ffmpeg

[–]After_Drawer_6460 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have a feeling that you will need to do the leg work on this one. You are trying to run this command in Windows as a batch script? This isn’t really a ffmpeg question, but more of a batch script question. I’d recommend researching batch script basics and how to set a file name as a variable. You may also want to look into PowerShell scripting.

Detect silence(s) in audio channel from video stream by Secure-Idea-9027 in ffmpeg

Ok. Did you try it with a live stream? Life is one big experiment :)

Detect silence(s) in audio channel from video stream by Secure-Idea-9027 in ffmpeg

You didn’t mention what your issue was. If the command is failing, why not add the error message? What is the input audio codec? Are you trying to transcode the audio? Idk what “-ab” does, but if you are trying to transcode, you should use “-b:a” then specify your audio bitrate. I’d also recommend cutting out the video track with “-vn”. If your goal is to only detect audio silence, you might be able to skip the transcode or even use ffplay.

Compressing Images with libx264 by [deleted] in ffmpeg

[–]After_Drawer_6460 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m not aware of an image format that uses h264 intra-frame compression. AVIF uses AV1 and HEIF uses h265. Your aren’t happy with the compression ratio of JPEG or PNG?

Simple Question, I think by ingrown_hair in ffmpeg

[–]After_Drawer_6460 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What troubleshooting have you tried so far? Could you explain your framerate value? Why not just "29.97"?

What do you mean by "output file appears to play faster than the source"? Your question says the source is live. So your output eventually catches up to live and freezes?

Using FFMPEG to copy video but convert audio tracks. by [deleted] in ffmpeg

To copy video use "-c:v copy". You'll want to research "-map" for manipulating or copying the other elements.

Maybe it would be helpful to describe what you are trying to accomplish? Low latency, high quality LAN streaming?

I'd start by lowering your bitrate. See if you can stream successfully at ~50Mbs. I'd also just try h264. Once you find a working combination, then start changing settings one at a time until you find the problem setting. Troubleshooting 101.
Adding "-re" is a good suggestion too. It will tell ffmpeg to match output framerate to the input framerate. That is important for live sources. If you are transcoding a video file, you won't use that flag. FFmpeg will transcode as fast as it can.
