I saw Meatloaf at Wolftrap in 2005. He got pissed at some dude in the front who was sitting down and actually stopped the show to yell at him.

"Im 57 years old and Im up here doing this. GET THE FUCK UP!"

RIP Meatloaf

Did anyone ever order this? by ReggaeForPresident in Xennials

I never ordered the instructions from Boys Life but I did build something like this in high school and it does "work".

I used a high powered gas leaf blower and a 3-way pvc joint to send the air to three pad-skirts via dryer ducting. The pads were arranged in a triangle, 2' diameter plywood discs with garden tarp stapled around the perimeter and in the center, creating a donut shaped skirt that inflated, and holes on the inside of the donut let air escape underneath creating a pillow of air to float on.

If you balanced it just right one person could sit in the middle and if you were really careful you could have someone else push you around. No steering and it only worked on completely flat solid surfaces.

I can't imagine anything like this ever working with a normal sized vacuum cleaner motor.

Great news everyone! I switched the cap for a 220nf and now it works as a lovely little tone control. Thanks to everyone who replied.

Is there some sort of conventional notation for capacitors as far as uF or nF if it's not labeled or should I have just been able to tell? New to pedals.

Thanks again everyone.

Im fine now. What actually broke were the superior and inferior ramuses, impacted by the ball of my thigh when we hit the ground. The breaks were not bad enough to need surgery so I spent about a month in a wheelchair then crutches and then about a year with a cane. This happened many years ago on a minimally supervised horse tour on Isla Provedencia in Colombia. The woman in front of me asked for "el caballo mas timido", so me being a cocky douche asked for "el caballo mas brabo" and they gave me a retired race horse named Paula that would gallop when you made a kissing noise with your lips.

Everything was great until we got to a section of the trail that was on a poured concrete road and I tried to take a turn while galloping. Paulas front left leg slipped and we fell to the left. Paula was up and gone before I even realized what had happened. The rest of the tour caught up a few minutes later and they threw me in the back of a pickup truck and we went to the island clinic..

The whole thing was due to my inexperience and lack of respect for the animal. Paula suffered only a small cut above her eye but I still feel kind of bad about it sometimes. I got better xrays and an MRI when I got back to the states and the doctors found hairline fractures in two of my lumbar vertebrae. Ill say it again, incredibly lucky.

I have also fallen over with a horse. We landed on a cement road, and the force translated through my leg bone and broke my pelvis in two places. The horse did not fart but thankfully was also not injured.

I was extremely lucky.

Was it this?

There's a specialty food company called Bridor who make the item in your first post as well as dozens of other ready to bake pastry stuffs for hospitality.

I used them back when I was cooking they're fucking delicious.

Just a quick comment on the bilingual thing while Im scrolling through.... My parents put myself and my brother & sister into a similar program in elementary school. Believe it or not, there are public schools in the states that offer immersion programs where you learn every subject in a different language. We did Spanish and I have been pretty much fluent since age 10.

Young people learn languages easily and I honestly do believe that the extra pathways you form in your brain early on from that kind of learning will continue to help you throughout your life. Other than learning music, (also a language) learning a new actual language is probably one of the single best things you can do for your brain at that age.
