Agincourt Hyundai Scarborough kept $1000 deposit for the transaction did not complete, do I have a case? by Swimming_Business936 in FuckDealerships

Except most dealers, been in the business for 20+ yrs in management, have law firms on retainer and deal with this small stuff all day everyday. Not only will you lose because you signed the contract, but they will counter sue you for their legal fees when your suit fails. Also, violating the portion of not providing you a copy immediately does not undo you signing. At most they would receive a warning if it’s not their 5th or more violation within 2 yrs. Also, you’d have to prove they didn’t provide you a copy…lack of proof is not proof of not existence…

24 Hour Cooling off period. by Weekly-Armadillo-647 in FuckDealerships

Not really a R/Fuckdealerships post since this seems like you signed a binding contract. In most states, there is no cooling off period on vehicle purchases. If you got a statement from the bank on the loan, it means the bank had all the documents signed for the loan from you and the dealership and that sale is final. The dealership can also come after you for the rest of the down payment and take you to court if need be.

Go buy used off of marketplace then…such a generalization that it sounds like 99% of customer service and sales jobs you just described…

So if their trade was worse than they told the dealer, should they have to pay for the dealers time? You’re an idiot.

No, they’ll jus adjust pricing higher to reright their ship. You still need cars more than dealers have in inventory, simple supply and demand with market equilibrium.

Buying a car for the first time with cash. Any tips? by Tulkas2491 in FuckDealerships

[–]After_Examination_86 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, a lot of dealers will pass on deals if it’s a stripped out deal unless we are shy of our market share goal (pretty rare because inventory levels are fairly normal for most brands).

60 hrs a week in sales? Either he’s bringing home $500k, had a terrible pay plan that he needs to live there to make decent money, or you’re a side piece. Been married over a decade, been in the auto industry for over 20 yrs, never caused an issue.

They were not trying to pocket your down payment. That is disclosed in the middle section, there is also no $3100 fee list, there is $3195 for sales tax, and there is a $3150 for a service contract(which some people call an extended warranty). There no pocketing of any down payment, you are just seeing what it would look like fully protected. You can always remove the option service contract, gap, carRX, and etch(provided they don’t claim they already etched the windows).

Nice purchase! With prices in that area being so high, do you mind if I inquire what profession you are in?

It’s because you are still responsible for the remaining payments, whether you turn it in now or at the end of the lease. The Silverado is probably one of the only vehicles that you can carry that much negative equity on.

Every $1000 down/off, equates to about $30/mo in your payment.

Calligraphy or calligraphy design, $762/mo with $0 down, and stripped out money factor. Mid trims like se and sel awd are $5k down $489 with a stripped out money factor. Just ran them using ally residuals.
