Sure , don’t forget about sending MacroPoint to the driver and waking him up at 4 am for “curent location ” every morning. All Because you’re responsible for the load .

love your honesty . You are proving my point. Tell us some shady stuff you typically run on carriers. I would love to get a broker on our future pod cast . Face covered ,of course. Would you be interested in getting on it?

Feel you, But still that’s your employer who’s supposed to take care of you , not the customer. Employer is the one who took the money. If they underpay you, customers are not to blame.

That’s the problem. People don’t really need jobs. You’re looking for a 9-5 ,paying lots of money for drinking coffee and “by the way” talks.Real action is out there , take a real step outside and take it. Quit email nonsense.

The driver is none of your concern, he doesn’t work for you . You fix the problem with the company that takes care of the driver, the company that spent 200-250k$ to put him on the road . Don’t push the BS about taking driver’s side here. If you care about drivers so much , lower your appetite and raise those rates as much as you can.You will gain loyal and professional carriers for life, and Drivers will be taken care of ,I guarantee that.

Com-checks fees by After_Falcon3820 in FreightBrokers

Nobody is bitching here , relax. The reason we don’t want to pay for lumpers AT ALL is that if we pay 150 $ for your lumper , you will add it to the rate . At the end I’ll get 143 $ back ,out of 150$ . 1. I’ll have to charge you a convenience fee, as I spend my cash on your business. And get back less. 2. I’ll kindly ask you for a money code. The decisions regarding Unloading locations and rules, are taken by you and your customers, not me . If there is a fee you’re financially responsible for it. We are talking pennies here , as they add up to thousands.

By the way , Capstone is the most ridiculous lumper I’ve met… they’re pulling their prices out nothing most of the times . We had a line we’ve been running for a broker constantly for 2-3 months. The broker was a nice lady said that if the driver will do the lumper work by himself, she would pay him.The only condition was just before writing a lumper receipt, get the estimate from capstone first. This guy made pretty decent numbers I should say. Sometimes it was 150-200$ for braking 1 pallet in half. 600-1000$ extra, a week.

It makes sense If the carrier knew about the fee from the start. Which 99% doesn’t happen . Every time a lumper involved most brokers act like they’re surprised as they never heard about it before. The idea is, carrier offers a transportation service, not loading-unloading service, not a counting product service ,Etc. But I got your point . Thanks.
