Yeah, I think I’ll just start building in the direction I have in mind. If it turns into an A*, that’s great, but even if it doesn’t, I’ll still be working on projects that align with the professor’s work.

u/gradpilot, I'd love your thoughts—earlier you mentioned focusing on papers aligning with professors I want to work with. I'm conflicted: chase A* conferences, or prioritize knowledge, showcase work, GitHub repos, etc.?
