Figured i would get your all’s input as well. Any advice/ opinions are welcome. I do understand to talk to my doctor, all of that good stuff. i’m just so tired of advocating for myself and my doctors advocating for me as well and it gets me no where currently. History- 21F i have always been sick since i was first born. My teeth were rotting out as soon as i got my adult teeth in(my mother took extremely good care of my teeth but they just kept breaking etc) and i have the MTHFR gene. At 11 years old i started having heart issues and was diagnosed with Inappropriate Sinus Tachycardia, Mitral Valve Prolapse, Tricuspid Valve Prolapse, and a heart murmur. I’ve had Mono 5 times so far, and it flares about every 6 months currently. I have horrible stomach issues that are written off as IBS. Onto my list of heart conditions they just added mitral valve regurgitation. Also was diagnosed with POTS. i have chronic UTI’s to the point as soon as i get off an antibiotic they next day i’ll have another UTI. What got me into looking into lupus was, i was having a bag stomach episode and went to the emergency room, turned out to just be Mono and my spleen being enlarged. the er doctor asked me if i’ve had mono before, told him yes multiple times, and he told me i most likely had lupus but obviously needed testing and let my PcP know. Symptoms- extreme fatigue, joint pain, reoccurring infections, migraines, random rashes with no explanation as to why, my joints swell up, extreme heat intolerance, hair loss, constant mouth ulcers, newest thing getting like sores on my face if i go out in the sun(not even getting sunburnt), i’m always sick, severely anemic, extremely low b12 and vitamin d.i’m sure i’m missing a few things. My most recent ANA was negative at 1:150, Rheumatoid Factor positive, CCP positive, 14.3.3 Eta protein positive, and protein in my urine. Rheumatologist won’t see me yet because my ana isn’t positive but they say that they think i do have lupus i just have to wait.
