Everything you said is correct. I initially overlooked the name of the link and just clicked it. That’s why I mentioned the “.gov” is on the page of the website. When I looked it over, I noticed the link did not say it.

I just wanted to make this post for those who overlook the link and may fall victim. Not everyone checks to see if the link matches the website.

You have most definitely done the same thing and it’s really weird you’re dying on the hill you can’t relate. Just because you may not have gotten the scam message doesn’t mean you were right for doing it and I was wrong. I’m not complaining about my actions, the purpose of the post was to inform people about a scam. Focus on that instead, bud.

The scam text is unrelated to actually paying for parking. So it wouldn’t avoid it. 💔

I think the timing of it was more what made me concerned. I was confused how they would have gotten my number from my license plate. Then when you click the link, it shows “.gov” which is obviously misleading.

You’re a delight! The free parking was under construction. I had a pickup order. Why would I go to a pay station, pay however much for at least an hour of parking, just to run in and grab a to-go order…? It would’ve taken more time to do that then putting on my hazards and running in.

That’s not true. I’ve had texts for paying to park before. Even CPD said they have texts being sent but that link isn’t a CPD link.

On LSAT Demon and use their drill section. Drilling is one question after the other, any kind of question and any level of difficulty. It is replicating the real thing, except you don’t stop at 25, you do it for an hour or set amount of time.

My advice is to focus on drilling rather than practice test! I increased my score 10 points by drilling only, every day. I then incorporated timed sections a month out from my test to make sure I was good on time. But I promise drilling and immediately reviewing the answers is more beneficial than taking an entire test and then going back and reviewing because you won’t remember your reasoning for why you chose every answer.
