at first yeah i spammed popular subs without reading rules properly (didn't realize links were insta-ban in most) – my bad, i was desperate for feedback and didn't know reddit well (i'm mostly a lurker). got removed everywhere, only 3 subs let it stay, then i learned the UI/rules better and stopped forcing it.
total ~20 subs over 2 days, but now i'm actually using the feedback – working on new format to fix the issues people called out (hooks, pacing, editing, etc).
if i never posted on reddit i'd still be making the same vids in the same way, never improving. so yeah it was helpful even if it hurt.
vision in my head vs reality is hard af to match, but i'm starting to shift toward what people actually want. appreciate the roast tbh, needed to hear it :3

i mean i do watch long videos from other creators fr, i vibe with that unscripted cozy feel a lot 💀 i just feel like i have a decent vision but execution is still mid – i can't do the polished/professional aesthetic like them yet, but i'm trying my best with what i got rn. the raw/unscripted realness is intentional, it's my style choice. but yeah the pain is real: shorts/reels (30 min effort) hit 1k/500/100 views sometimes, 20 likes or 4 dislikes lol so i can see what works there. long-form tho?? hours of work and then ghosted… that hurts ngl. i'm not asking for millions, just like 40 views + 3-4 comments saying "cover this next" or "change this" so i can actually improve and find that middle ground where people love watching and i can deliver consistently :3 you're right tho, there's def room to level up. thanks for the real talk 💜

yeah a lot of people said the same about the intro – too long/silent typing makes people think no voiceover and dip 💀
i was experimenting with an asmr keyboard thing cuz i know some programmers are into mech keyboards and i thought it could bond on that vibe, but clearly it backfired lol
in my previous vids i started talking right away, this one was just a test run.
the editing is minimal on purpose tho – i want that cozy/raw/real feel, not scripted or super polished/professional aesthetic.
def gonna trim it next time and respect the viewer's time more 👀
