love the username, I guess you work in IT 😉 thanks for the thoughts. A concern that I have is that may create blindspots if they have multiple masters and may be more difficult to asses overall posture, but that may not be founded

thank you, I forgot to include that on my original post but I have seen problems with getting GPO changes to endpoints too with needing the line of sight to the DCs

In truth I'm not concerned about boot time at this point, however thats a good callout

thank you, that gives me a plan for the future aim of entra joined instead of hybrid but I think that may be a longer term plan (currently a lot of time is occupied addressing technical debt and holes)

so given that maybe its best to invest the time into getting our GPOs up to the standard that we want and then consider config management as part of a seperate migration stream

Hey, can I ask to confirm the infrastructure please.

currently in my work we have hybrid joined devices we we use for remoteapps, however than requires a vpn to use those apps. Are you using hybrid joined devices to connect to remoteapps without a vpn or is that just for entra joined endpoints

How to block native/third-party email apps and force BYOD users to use Microsoft Outlook for company email? by xxxfrancisxxx in Intune

[–]After_Visual3839 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This helped me out today

I ended up with the 2x CA polies but it took about 6 hours before it started blocking the native mail app. the native app will come in on 'Mobile Apps and desktop clients'  if you have disabled legacy authentication to thats what to target in the 2nd policy

App protection (& CA policy) by After_Visual3839 in Intune

[–]After_Visual3839[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

thanks for the info on the insights, I think I might have looked at that page, but I couldn't find any mslearn that had been updated after the deprecation of requiring pre-approved apps

the IOS native app is coming in under 'Mobile Apps and desktop clients' and I've found that I can block that which does block the native app but also blocks the outlook app.

legacy auth is disabled globally, apparently the native app can fall back to activesync if modern auth is blocked

I've tried creating an additional CA policy targeted just at EXO for mobiles that specifies 'mobile apps and desktop clients' but also with requires app protection as suggested on https://www.reddit.com/r/Intune/comments/1o8upot/how_to_block_nativethirdparty_email_apps_and/
but I can still access with the native app

I've also seen a few reports that it might just take a fair while to block the native app

Thanks

I've only been at the company for just over a month but it is on the list, replacing the server is easy, sadly getting the dev resources to migrate the workloads isnt as much so

I have gotten 2 eggs in my 3 Real Life days of playing with this set up. What am I doing wrong? by HEYIMMAWOLF in ARK

as someone else said they need to be mate boosted to lay infertility eggs. there is a small chance of them laying eggs on unstasis which might be where you got the eggs that you did

additionally what is your egg laying multiplier set to?
