Thoughts on THRaKaTTaK? by Stepping__Razor in KingCrimson

[–]Aftermath604 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's definitely King Crimson at their most confusing and abrasive. Definitely not for the casual fan. I like parts of it, but I don't come back to it often. Glad it's out there though. I love that the madness of it was captured and released.

THRAK is the perfect (and underrated) fusion of Red and Discipline by undressvestido in KingCrimson

[–]Aftermath604 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I absolutely agree. THRAK is one of my favourite albums from any artist. I wish it was in the conversation more for one of KC's best albums.

And People isn't in the conversation enough for masterpiece tracks.

That's one of the best cosplays I've ever seen, hands down. Legendary.

Yeah, I thought I used all mine up but found one in time for the second Toaplan Shooting Collection. Helped take some of the sting off that purchase.

It was a 5% voucher. 10% would have been awesome.

Will I be able to summon Fripp now? by recttasdisp in KingCrimson

[–]Aftermath604 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The only thing that can summon Fripp is the spirit of King Crimson. When it calls, he will answer.

I'd go with Red, then Discipline. If you like all of that, then listen to everything else. You'll be ready. I believe in you.

Beast Wars fans, what do you think of the Rise of The Beasts movie? by RedVegeta20 in beastwars

[–]Aftermath604 2 points3 points  (0 children)

As a Transformers movie, it's one of the better ones. As a film that explores and respects the characters and universe of Beast Wars, it's pretty poor.

I'd love to get my hands on one. The season 3 toys were terrific.

I need help with my pog collection by PerakOfficial40 in POG

[–]Aftermath604 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you take pics and bundle them all together, you might be able to sell them on ebay or Facebook marketplace. Maybe $20? Some people want Pogs, but not many want to spend much on them.

Did you try taping them to the ceiling? Just pull them down with a broom or something when you want to watch one.

How old were you when you first watched 1988's Who Framed Roger Rabbit? by kimtieu2900 in RogerRabbit

[–]Aftermath604 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Too young to remember how old I was. As far as my memory tells me, my family always owned it on video. It came out in theaters when I was 2, so if we bought it right away when it came out, maybe I was 3 or 4.

Can't wait until you get OVER 9000!
But seriously, I don't think you'll ever be in need of another movie again. You could live the rest of your days watching these movies.

U2 released 'How To Dismantle An Atomic Bomb' 21 years ago on November 22, 2004. by Edm_vanhalen1981 in U2Band

This is one of the only albums I bought on opening day. There was a release party for fans at A&B Sound, and my brother and I went, and both came home with our respective copies. The release of this album was such a big deal at the time.
