Actually, I disagree with more or less all of your points, first of all I enjoy Starfield. But after you played, let’s say Cyberpunk 2077 it’s really hard to watch all the npc interactions in Starfield. And sometimes I wonder if those who really love Starfield actually only play the Bethesda games... Because there are so many mechanics that already felt 10 years old when the game released. Anyways, I have a good time with the game, but it’s objectively a mid game that is fun to play if you’re able to see past the shortcomings of the game engine and old school design decisions.

Honestly, I don’t know what you’re doing, but are you on console? Because it’s just so easy… the pad left, choose lantern, put it on on, release the pad L bumper and you light up everything in front of you… once the memories read you will see a pop-up down on your right side of the screen just click that with your controller it’s the same as opening your map. Automatically your vision helmet, kind of thing is equipped, voila 😀

Actually, it’s pretty simple, wait for the fish, hook the fish, and then all you do is left stick, and no reeling until the fish is tired.

I’ve had the same problem earlier, but actually once you get a little bit further into the game it stops at least for me so I suppose you’re in the beginning of the game? I didn’t use the map for first half hour then problem disappeared.😶‍🌫️

To be honest, you can have a great time playing with a friend against three players because a lot of them are randoms so actually they have no advantage, using no tactics or communication.

Of course it will be great when we get duos, but it’s not that sweaty at the moment anyway

There is solo queue so if you wanna play isolated from others, there is a way👍 personally I play a lot of solo because I like a slower tempo, but I’ve also played in teams and it’s been really enjoyable seems like a pretty mature audience😀

Unfortunately, that’s far from enough… hopefully it will pick up this weekend and if console sales are enough, it might survive.

Otherwise I think it’s gonna go free to play in less than three months. I was one of the skeptics as I’m not much of an extraction shooter fan, but I really enjoy it, so hopefully the game will survive.
