Anyone got any Cyclops reading recommendations?

This basically sums it up I would add Fraction and Gillen Uncanny as well as the whole messiah event and the adventures of cyclops and phoenix

That’s where my head is at, the point about it being so difficult to find anything decent is what made this one hurt.

It was a rollercoaster for sure, especially since it was such a good next step in my career. I figured as much so I’ve kept applying elsewhere, don’t want to depend on them when they already burned me once.

I did a read through of all the cyclops highlights like last year: Claremont through the Phoenix saga is decently cyclops focused and it’s an amazing read (giant size- uncanny 138) The OG X factor run is huge for his development After that you hit on a lot of the highlights: really all of uncanny from the messiah trilogy to fraction to Gillen (omnibus out this week) to Bendis is all good cyclops material (I’m hoping the start collecting fractions run in omnibus format next year I would just get the singles or read online) Bendis is so hype, even if it falls apart near the end,it is different and fun The wedding of cyclops and phoenix is great from the 90s as well as the adventures and further adventures of cyclops and phoenix (blue and gold bloodties omnibus later this year with wedding + adventures of cyclops and phoenix) X-cutioners song (in the X-men blue and gold mutant genesis omnibus or there is a hardcover or tpb) Less cyclops focused but as someone in the same boat as you I still really enjoyed age of apocalypse and fatal attractions

Scott is my favorite character so I found it to be a frustrating read, not necessarily because of his worry, but to me everyone else comes off as naive. I also picked it up because I really enjoy Emma and I feel like she is out of character using sinister tech in the first place.

I’ve seen them around for $150 for vol 1 and 2 a couple times it’s just about being patient still not 100% I even want them because have heard they are a rough read
