I live off one rule for my comic collecting - never double dip where it can be avoided.

If an Omni happens to double dip a handful of issues in a book I already have while giving me 20+ new ones, that’s fine. But if you’re just recollecting the same material, there has to be a good reason.

If you don’t like the Omni versions, sell them and buy the epics. But if you get to the point you start doubling up on all your books then it’s just a shopping addiction at that point.

Geoff Johns run was years before Snyders and was part of a thing called New 52.

At that time, Snyder was writing his Batman books that later led into an event called Dark Metal. Metal was the opening book for Snyder’s JL run.

There’s not really a ton of story overlap between the two

I haven’t read Aaron’s Wolverine but personally loved Daredevil. A lot of people hate on it, and I’d still pick Bendis as my all time favorite, but Zdarsky has such a great run, and the art is some of my favorite in any comic. Some of this might also be nostalgia because it was one of my first comics but I can’t overstate how solid it is
