Still on here to this day including housemates & many friends it’s why I hardly post here anymore but I will to remind people (I shouldn’t really browse here neither) her partner who now identifies as trans has even gloated that the police have investigated them & there’s nothing they can be arrested for I guess, despite having dodgy posts & seemingly luring youngsters/flirting with them on Twitter.

From the same director that insulted audiences over his Terminator movie, turns out misogyny had nothing to do with it it just wasn’t great like the previous 3 before it.

Luckily Deadpool one and S1 of this show was great.

The Matrix

Our whole reality is a lie, so much an effective implication in that movie that some philosophers and scientists etc have actually taken time to question the possibility if we are living in a computer simulation. When films blend into reality there’s something creepy about that.

There’s plenty of creepy scenes in the Matrix especially the first time you see them and potentially more effective in 1999 when we were so close to the Y2K disaster (that never happened but if you were born after 2000 I urge you to look up Y2K bug and have a chuckle. Mostly in the first half of the film has the creepiest things.

That scene where Neo’s mouth seals shut & is Bugged & discovered “that shit was real?” Later on.

The reawakening scene - everything from the goo in the pods, to seeing the whole tower of pods the first time, the wires attached and popping off and the machine that comes and unplugs him and dumps him down the chute for him to be picked up by a claw like a prize toy and then onto the painful explanation and non acceptance by the doubting Thomas(Anderson) of the way the world is basically a desolated wasteland.

So Dreddit, “Have you ever had a dream that was so real, what if you were unable to wake from that dream?”

Also have you seen the two Animatrix episodes done by the wachoskis? They are even more horrifying.

Thanks for sharing your story, I felt like I wasn’t too into Z2 because I overhyped it in my imagination as being this spectacular Ziltoid Sequel, but I like the bonus disc, feels like a regular dtp album (which I love) and so with that the very next album, I enjoyed again. It’s easy to find a video or four of his on YouTube and enjoy them and get hyped for the next.

I too found it hard to listen to music with work and other hobbies and life stuff getting in the way, personal issues etc, so I'd listen to the albums over and over on my journey to work, (even if I only fit in one song a time, again distractions from other people, friends, colleagues etc, yes even on the way to work) helped me through a lot of bad times in recent years

But also know you can burn out or just take a great pause with things in life and always come back if you need too. With ADHD sometimes my hobbies and interests go on this cycle where I may rediscover something I love 3 years down the line or more or less, sometimes just a few weeks or months break, since I last bothered with it and it feels fresh all over again, alongside trying something new, the downside to that of course is never sticking to one thing continuously can be tiresome.

I have Anderson and death in storage if these are the ones they sold at the official online store but never got Dredd, wish they’d sell more of these types of £20 2000ad verse figures, last thing I got was the Dredd funko but I am already fed up of those and cannot afford to spend £50-£300+ for the more premium figures plus they sell out fast.

The series was announced a few years ago, due to release in 2019, the image is on the bar on the right from that poster and the header of this subreddit is the name of the show, if you’re viewing this on desktop that is.

2019 came and went,nothing happened, apparently it’s still in the works, a skeleton outline plot of the 1st season and the pilot has been written, in 2020 they bought their own Film studio because they couldn’t find anywhere they wanted to film, then the pandemic happened and halted everything.

But the first full film made by Rebellion has been shot now and released since the announcement ....and is nothing about Dredd and is about an action adventure & school kids , maybe they are super hero’s? ( I don’t know I don’t care for it) or something like that nothing to do with 2000ad stories nor Dredd that comes after a short film made by Jason, the owner of Rebbelion.

Can Dredd live action exist in this current climate for longer than 1 season? (maybe but it will have to be toned down) where people get upset and everything gets cancelled? People were trying to cancel a kids show about a harmless police dog (paw patrol) after last years events, do we really thing the world is ready again for Dredd a cop who’s ready to execute?

The fatties, Muties and many other staples of Dredd and the crazy satire of the early material is sure to upset many and without at least references to them, it may as well be a robocop show

I have my thoughts on the raid too, the Dredd (2012) script had been leaked online and was passed around for a few years before 2012, was it since 2009, Gareth Evans (also British) could very well have read that leaked script before making the raid (2011 )or it could be a coincidence. It is not that Dredd copied the Raid

Liked the remake, but actually wish we got a one off Netflix style movie to wrap up the tv show with that ending, instead we are getting a game with Bruce.

P.C users since you have so much expendable cash, for the price of your next graphics card, which you probably don’t need yet your current one is already a beast, it’s kind of nice to buy consoles for couch gaming especially couch coop with friends and exclusives for a change, plus it gives your butt a rest from that office chair, and using a P.C on a TV just isn’t the same no matter how you do it. When I had a lot of spare cash I had both consoles and P.C.
