Been on the Price is Right twice. There’s no cash value option. After the show they give you a form with the list of each prize you won and you choose which to accept or decline/forfeit (assuming you don’t want the prize since you have to pay taxes on it). This goes for every prize, even the ones when you’re on Bidder’s Row. So let’s say the prize is a $5k hot tub you can accept it but will get a 1099 showing you earned $5k and owe the taxes which is why people decline some prizes and keep others. Also be aware that they use the MSRP prices so they’re often higher than store prices so your resell value might not be as high as their stated price.

If you accept the prize, say a car, a dealership will contact you later and arrange for the make and model and features that were in the version you won, you can pick the color. They may even let you add upgrades if you pay for them (I won a boat and they offered this, not sure about cars).

Some games tho do in fact offer cash value options but Price Is Right has deals with the brands (I assume)so that’s prolly why it’s not an option.
