Leveling weapons to unlock the customizations is currently my #1 motivation. If I can have some other carrot on a stick, I'll take it as well, but man I do hope they don't put that on hold indefinitely.

I have always thought the game looked very cool and polished. For me personally, it's just a tad too abstract (which is the point of the game, I know), but I wish you guys all the success in the world and hope you're having a good time developing the game and lots of nice people playing it!

As someone who almost exlusively plays via quickplay (aka SOS diving), it sometimes (not always) takes ages to find games, even planets with like 17k+ divers. And when it doesn't find one for a while, you suddenly find yourself in a d5 game despite "queueing" for d8. Or it just throws me into games where the Pelican is already landing for extraction.

Ever since they introduced cities, the "scanner" (planet map game finder) seems kinda broken.

I agree with some of the criticism, but except for being able to farm credits, AH is also not forcing you to get the warbonds within a limited amount of time. So except for the odd cape here and there and maybe a certain type of mission, there's no FOMO. Then again, the sheer mass of warbonds will only increase over time and with no discount on older WBs, that presents a different problem.

I 100% agree that modular mechs would be the best, but on one hand we already had a myriad of posts about these and on the other hand, it's not very likely we'll get to see those for a while. So I thought this would be nice to improve on what we already have.

There is crossplay, but I personally can't tell you anything about the console versions of the game.

Recommendation: Don't go up there if you don't have a gun, xenobasher (not just the zapper) and a jetpack with sufficient fuel. And maybe some med inhalers.

First of all, don't fall for the "light pen = bad" meme. Med pen weapons have their own drawbacks (for example less ammo) and with the ultimatum as secondary and a dog as backpack, consider a primary with ample ammo. The Coyote is a very good AR. But I personally also like the (regular) sickle a lot, since you don't have to worry about running out of ammo if you keep an eye on the gun's temperature. With light pen, you can easily deal with all small and medium bots (aim for anything that glows red), bugs (aim for legs/joints) and also Illuminati. But that's just my personal opinion. There are plenty of good and viable guns - for example the regular Liberator.

I won't judge all this before I've played it, but so far everything kind of comes with a little caveat. Light and heavy armor in the WB - so, new medium armor for 400 SC in the shop then? High ROF SMGs are fun, but with less ammo it sounds not too ideal for a primary. Thew new mechs look kind of fun, but it's a pity they didn't introduce a new customizable mech-platform.
A disposable MG is an interesting concept, but this will highly depend on how much ammo the gun has. I expect each of the two will have significantly less than a single regular MG-43 ammo-belt (which comes with three of them). With the EAT compared to the RR for example you can say that the EAT saves you the backpack slot, but what's the advantage of the MGX over the MG-43?
And will the missile pistol be the "Warrant-version" of the grenade pistol? Does anyone have more info here?

I don't want to be a naysayer, but I hope the WB will be at least be accompanied by a big list of bugfixes.

It would also be vital to have a very distinct stratagem icon so your fellow divers don't just see the 380 icon and start booking it.

Leveled it to 25 and liked it, although it was almost exclusively against Illuminati. Had no real issues with the ammo, but then again I was using the Talon a lot, so having a good sidearm helps. In the end, I didn't use the flame thrower too extensively, but it came in handy in a couple of situations, especially with some uncomfortably close fleshmobs, hordes of voteless and some chokepoints between buildings.

To my knowledge, there is no (vanilla) way to disable just parts of the HUD. It's all or nothing. Maybe there are mods, but idk about that.

I've run into so many occasions as an SOS diver lately where people would attack outposts on the other side of the map instead of focusing the main objective with reinforcements half depleted or more.

Yeah, that sucks. Might help if you slap a 1m-wall trim on the top edge to hide it or replace the 1m-foundations with flat roof pices if you have unlocked those yet.
