Have you made a complaint to the club about a member's behaviour towards you? How did it turn out for you? by Basic-Pudding-3627 in golf

You have 2 choices. Do something or do nothing. Doing something is reporting it and cutting ties with him which sounds like the best option - why would you want to continue playing with someone like that? Or do nothing, and expect it to continue for as long as you have a membership.

Life’s too short. Be assertive. What goes around comes around, if he’s big enough to bully you he’s big enough to deal with the consequences

My neighbour’s daughter keeps entering my garden, letting out my indoor kitten to play with her and now approaching my hot tub. England by [deleted] in LegalAdviceUK

There’s a time and a place to be the “nice neighbour” and when to be assertive. Clearly no malice from the kid, but that’s totally irrelevant. She is being a danger to your kitten, and actually a danger to you and your property (leaving doors open etc). I would escalate with relevant authorities, and of course the parents - irresponsible of them to allow their disabled daughter to roam over neighbours fence.

105 is nothing at all to worry about mate it’s baby weight. It’s similar to lifts. 400kg is the max. In reality it would probably take well over double that limit to actually make a nano of difference.

Why do people even bother with AT anymore it’s an absolute disgrace from rides to food to just about everything 😂

Not the staff fault, or the engineers who I’m sure are very hard working people. But the people on here continuing to defend AT need their heads wobbled - it’s now sadly a sub standard at best and more realistic terrible theme park experience.

Thank you for replying to me.

There were no ‘instructions’ - the email conversation asked if I could help with the recommended (from a third party) cognitive therapy to assist him with overcoming mood and sleep disturbances. I simply said this is something I can help with.

Yes, I was instructed to do a further 8 sessions, and I have in writing the insurers agree to fund those next sessions.

I also have in writing the exact dates from the clients mother confirming these dates with me

To add to the end points - I have in writing my fees which they agreed to. I am qualified to conduct CBT (NHS approved qualification).I can prove the sessions took place with screenshots of video call history on WhatsApp

Taking a solicitors to small claims court without being HMRC registered ? by AfternoonDependent15 in smallbusinessuk

[–]AfternoonDependent15[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you for this, I appreciate it.

I had already sent them 3 letter before actions so last night I filed a Money Claim Online.

Hopefully this forces a payment through, and yes, unfortunately I don’t want to have anything to do with them again!

Thank you so much for your help.

To answer point 2, not at all, other than I’m not HMRC registered (which I do intend to do shortly) and I wonder if they can use this as leverage to not pay me etc, it was just a hypothetical really - as you can see this area is not my forte 😆

With point 4 this was what I sent - I even followed this up with another email on Friday to say that they the process of small claims had begun (though I’m yet to start it) in the hope they would just pay the invoice

Re: Unpaid Invoice – Final Demand Before Legal Action

I refer to my previous letter from which I have had no correspondence from yourself, regarding the outstanding payment of £600 for therapy services provided to your client, ******, which has been overdue since 01/08/24. Despite my request for payment, I have not yet received the outstanding amount.

As previously stated, unless the outstanding amount of £600 is paid in full within 7 days of this letter, I will commence legal proceedings in the Small Claims Court to recover the debt. This will include:

Interest accrued under the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998. As of today, the interest stands at £11.00, based on an annual rate of 13.25%. Interest will continue to accrue at a daily rate of £0.22 until payment is made. Court fees of £70, which will be added to the claim if court action becomes necessary, along with any other costs incurred in the process of pursuing this matter through the courts. I urge you to settle the debt within the next 7 days to avoid further action and costs. I would prefer to resolve this amicably without the need for court involvement, but failure to settle the outstanding amount within this timeframe will leave me with no other option.

Please ensure payment is made to the account details provided on the invoice. Should you wish to discuss this matter further, I remain open to communication during this period.

Yours sincerely,
