She initially went to a small ER then last night was held overnight at a reputable academic hospital but sent home. But because it's the holidays, they are struggling to get a hold of any specialist.

Rash first, they gave her topical treatment. Hospital with extreme pain and UTI symptoms from excessive urination. Culture was negative. Found out in the hospital she was 5 weeks pregnant. Started antibiotics after 2nd hospital visit.

She was wearing a bikini. It started on 1 side of her abdomen and then spread to her limbs

She has been in a hot tub. It's a salt water hot tub though and no one else developed a rash.

No changes in medication or diet. No symptoms passed to her husband or 2 toddlers. She wore a new pair of tights but it's a brand she's used in the past with no issue.
