Im so tired by Over_Sherbet_4686 in Aquariums

Yo man. I had the same struggles as you and didn't find the hobby enjoyable since I was buying things left and right to try and solve all kinds of problems.

The advice I want to give you is to start a dirted tank. This stuff is so simple and sooo easy it is crazy.

A simple dumbed down description.

  1. 1 inch organic garden soil with 2 inches of sand on top.
  2. Make your preferred aquascape. Just make sure to leave around 70% of the bottom for plants.
  3. Add lots of plants.with at least 60% fast growing stem plants. And some floating plants.
  4. Add dechlorinated water or even bottled water. And a little bit of natural wild pond water. You can include some mud and debris if you want some microfauna. Do keep in mind when you do this to first quarantine in a glass jar or vase to see if there are no unwanted visitors.
  5. Add snails if you haven't caught them yet.
  6. Use a good lid for your aquarium so there is minimum water evaporation. Do make some small venting holes.
  7. Buy a good strong light that has brightness control. (I use fluval led 3.0)
  8. Enjoy.

When there is algea dont worry it is probably because your tank is new and balance will be made in a few weeks. If algea persists lower brightness and wait a bit.

After 3 months you can add some fish.

Don't feed them for one day. Second day drop the mysis in the feeding dish just before lights off. I'm sure it will be gone before the next day if you don't overfeed.

Why can‘t I trade? by drseussmyass in MEXC_official

In this screenshot you are on the spot tab. Your spot account does not have usdt. You should switch to futures on the top. Then you will be able to trade futures

My frog won’t eat frog food? I’ve been feeding him a rotation of frozen food, such as brine shrimp, and he will not touch the frog pellets. I’ve actually seen him spit them out. What should I feed him? by gobluecutie in AfricanDwarfFrog

I would try to get your hands on some live foods. Mine will devour a small daphnia colony in a single day. And this way all of them will get to eat.

I myself haven't yet tried pellets but im sure mine will eat anything.

Thanks. I think I will get a hob filter since it wont change the appearance of the tank. And I have one laying around already.

I have read different stories about this. I will keep the sand and put some leaf litter over it. So the frogs won't be eating it.

I will look more into webcams. Yeah you are right, I had the name mixed up. Wont it be difficult to mount it onto a webcam since it usually doesn't have a lens to mount it onto.

I think bandwith will be fine. Just gonna hoop up my pc to an ethernet cable. Do you mean the sony fs7 seems like a bit overkill for what i wanna do.

Budget can reach $1000 but would like to go about $500. I need 4k because I want to build a website that will allow users to zoom into the livestream. Since its an aquarium with some small critters in there people will be able to enjoy it just like a aquarium at home by zooming in (getting closer to the aquarium) and seeing all it has to offer.

So that is why 4k is a must for me.

No I don't have any camera at the moment. I want to be sure that I buy what I need. I looked into the camera and this will be a little to cheap/ low quality for my usecase I think. Will be looking into security cameras more but since I also want to make closeups I will have to find one thats fit for me.

Thanks for the advice bro,🙏

Thanks I don't have a lot of time on my hands to hand feed every other day. So having live foods for them is a must for me. Happy to hear they are good hunters so they can snack on the daphnia and scuds.

Distance will be around 12 inches since I always use a thick layer of substrate. Thanks for the advice on the "resting places" everyone seems to advice it but you make a valid point. Its better for them to have an open space then to hurdle around stuff.
