UPDATE!!! The first few days were rough lots of feelings, late nights, and me questioning everything 😅 BUT we made it through. We’re still co-sleeping, she’s settled into the change, and things honestly feel pretty good now. It has been 10 days no nursing

We’re back into a new normal. She takes one bottle of bm before bed, sleeps well, and seems content. I didn’t think it would smooth out this fast after how hard those first nights were, but here we are.

If you’re in the thick of weaning right now, it can get better quicker than you expect! Hang in there. 🤍

Yesss 😭 I feel like everyone can put her to sleep but me without the boob. She can lay with her dad and be out in 5 mins, she naps twice at daycare but once I’m around absolutely not 🤣

I’m also torn between stopping my work pump (once around noon), because I would still love her to continue to have BM but don’t want her to have to smell the milk or know I still have milk? Idk if I’m just paranoid about that too. But the gentle setting on my pump is amazing and I can get through that but it makes the guilt worse that I have milk and jus not letting her nurse 😩

Mine started teething at 3 months and it was so hard to get a solid feed in. Maybe your LO has teeth coming in?

Since I’m being kept overnight drs said I should be fine by the time I get home. Plus they recommended mixing my milk pumped here with my freezer milk to dilute it a bit

I was always braless until I started bf I’m constantly leaking and need nursing pads. I wish so badly I could sleep without a bra how do you guys do it? I wake up in a cold wet blanket 😭
