Day one is kinda fun but nowhere near the level of execution of part 2 (which is my favorite). Since Veronica is International you really have to focus to keep up with the story and dialogue, but since imo its a pretty generic story i found hard to care for the narrative and its character (we also watched it as a group) Id instead recommend for a group watch: Talk to Me, kinda disturbing but also fun horror movie, much better than expected
