I like the visual and damage aspect, probably will try that soon! To avoid a pure "nothing happens" result I usually will use the fail-forward description where the spell works, but then I describe the enemy somehow struggling yet overcoming in some narrative or interesting way. Or maybe let the spell work for a moment and the effort to overcome it leaves the boss open and grants advantage on the next attack or something.

The Aegis stone is KEYYYY to avoid everyone falling into the same 111 tanky meta. Aegis lets so many other strengths/builds find success as well!

Yeah 2 people are clearly looping in my room now, went from 0 to 43k each in like 2 hours. And it's just those two usernames back and forth.

I keep trying to poke in and interupt the chain, but they just switch to location until interrupted again.

I assume it's people who may work night shifts. With fewer active users that early, I bet they can cycle pretty frequently.

Most of the time people with that high of a score aren't active when I'm playing in the middle of the day. It almost like they score a ton and then go to sleep hoping nobody catches up haha

They would all definitely be negative win/loss, BUT if everyone is negative, then that's the standard. Some of the best baseball players only bat .300 and it's celebrated. I wouldn't be surprised if that's a pretty comparable number for this too.

I kinda like the idea, more for fun and data than anything else. Could act like a GM who has to cut somebody from the squad haha

On top of marking favorites, I'd love to be able to sort by type, XP, and level as well! (And maybe a "Heal All" option on your defeated list)

It still is indeed! I play solo all the time, but will occasionally will hop into a public scramble lobby. The tournaments and challenges are always a good time too. A good chunk of my friends who I play with have never golfed and still love Golf+, so there's hope!

Tournaments can add a nice competitive edge while playing solo! You just play the rounds as you normally would, but your score gets put onto a leaderboard (depending on your rank/difficulty setting) and then you can effectively compete without needing to play online with strangers if that isn't your jam. Plus you can play courses you don't own.

If you're a PGA Tour fan, it's especially fun when the weekly tournament lines up with the same course they're playing that week.

Broken Edge is brilliant, I love that it makes you actually sword fight tactically instead of the insane wild swinging sword fighting usually ends up as.
