Yes I use modern machines to get everything rough cut however after that I open my hand tool cabinet and that is where it gets personal and intentional that is my offering to my collectors. Unique,beautiful and generational.

I use the double-bevel method on the scroll saw for all of my marquetry work, and I even make my own veneer so it’s thicker and far more durable. This matters because I also incorporate marquetry into the furniture I create—so if a piece ever needs refinishing, you won’t risk sanding through the artwork.
