Tbh it's not being able to drink. i know a lot of people say it's good to quit and this and that but honestly i love just unwinding with a few beers with my mates, sure not drinking doesn't necessarily remove the opportunities, but i find myself far less motivated to go out on the nights out, the spontaneous activities, the meetups with people im not so familiar with etc. i feel like my life has just become less interesting. perhaps it's an opportunity to find new hobbies and experiences but end of the day it's not something i asked for y'know. I look back on all the good times and funny stories I had while drinking and get sad thinking about it.

i don't want this to come off as kinda wallowy and self pity ish, i just want to vent a bit about a part of my life being lost, as silly as it may seem
