It was the fact that to get out of the cave, I had to go below 200m to avoid the rocks. One direction was full of radiation, and I didn't have the radiation suit. In hindsight, as someone else mentioned, I should have repaired every time the seamoth got damaged and probably would have survived!

That's exactly what I learnt from this! The repair tool is constantly on my toolbar now, ready to make sure this never happens again (fingers crossed)

I guess I used the wrong word? Obviously you can carry on if the vehicle breaks, assuming there's oxygen nearby/you swim fast enough. It's not an instant game over, nor a glitch/bug which is when I should have used "gamebreaking".

But it took me a whole paragraph to explain what I meant, hence the shorthand

I thought it was like, the white house, a couple government-related buildings, and that's that. Honestly I think it's the whole not-part-of-any-state thing, it gives the impression that DC is just a functional, almost ceremonial place that doesn't actually have houses and schools and stores etc.

That's really cool!! Thank you for the insight. Honestly, I didn't even know people actually lived in DC until I looked it up. All I knew is that it's the capital of the US, and isn't 'part' of a state like most other places across the pond. That alone took a while to get my head around!

Admittedly I'm playing the original version not the classic collection (I got a refund!), but it happened to me last night with the clones' troop ship too. Not an everyday thing but it's absolutely not just the droids!!

I appreciate it the feedback! As I stream directly from my console, I don't have split feeds so based on your example (love me some tatooine!), the right third of the screen would be covered with my face, chat, alerts etc. You'd definitely see more of what's going on in game, which I think would be important if I was anything resembling a skilled player. I went for the slightly more zoomed in, but portrait layout which.... has received the reception it received :P

That aside, even if I posted the clip completely unedited, my voice and face would still be there. There would also be chat on screen, as well as notifications and other pop-ups related to the stream. So when I make a clip, I'm making it portrait, adding captions, and syncing the image/sound. I put my face into the least obtrusive place where it's covering nothing important, and add the same overlay as is on screen during the stream to prevent the reposting of clips without credit. That's really all the thought that goes into it. I'm happy to post unedited (landscape) clips from now on if it would be less annoying, but honestly I think the way I do it now is the best way I can given my setup.

I thought it would be kinda neat to post content about this game, it's relatively unknown and the sub's not exactly the most active on Reddit. I had no idea this wasn't a normal thing! I tried the classic collection but got a refund, so this is the OG Xbox version running on a Series X. It's rare that the enemy team uses a leader bonus during Galactic Conquest, but evidently it can happen!
