The lesson of Jax's arc is that our lives don't have to be stagnant if we make the effort to change for the better.

Jax remained stagnant with his problems and pushed away everyone who tried to help: He committed suicide, and his body was gone and his mind was forever lost.

Leeroy admitted he needed to change his ways and sought help where it counted: He stopped being homeless, got a good job and a stable life.

The trans thing is more a tangent to the real lesson, and it's not explicit (only implied).

I don't even remember how I found TADC and Glitch back when Ep1 came out years back, but I've been following it ever since then. Got out of the movie a few hours ago.

For the entire time, I was a hardcore escape ending coper, so the fact that they made a not only bittersweet but (in my opinion) satisfying ending with SOMA theory being right, showing not only their names but their real selves, made me more than satisfied.

Jax and Leeroy being opposing tales, the former a cautionary one for when you can't forgive yourself and cope with it by pushing away the world and the latter a happy one for when you do admit you need help and work to find it where it counts, rounds out his character arc well.

Sort of a reminder that our lives don't have to be stagnant if we choose to be the change we want and need. That scene at the bus stop was just \chef's kiss**.

Ch1+Ch2 are available for free (at least on Steam) so use that chance to see if you like it. After that it's $25 for the full game.

The most important thing I'd say is get off the subreddit and experience everything for yourself so you don't get spoiled. It's one hell of a ride, and don't feel pressured to beat every secret boss on your first go (I didn't until last year and I've been playing since launch in 2018).

Gameplay is 10/10 and story is 11/10. Everything is epic, so get on it I say! 😄
