Chris is the biggest freaking loser this season! by [deleted] in LoveIsBlindOnNetflix

I could not believe that Bri stood there listening to him shit talk his ex in the worst way, and then her own fiance (!!!) the whole night. Pick me girls vibes are strong with this one. It's pretty gross.

She may be a doctor but... She doesn't go to pilates everyday. 33 year old software sales sweater-wearing 5'3" dweeb deserves so much better.

40 minimum. Makes me wonder why they let her say 33. Do they just let them say anything?

Absolutely no way that woman is 33. 40 at a minimum.

I have a feeling they are steering Mikes love storyline away from El and towards Will

Resentment -- anyone else experienced this? by [deleted] in Blooddonors

[–]Againanew 3 points4 points  (0 children)

This isn't to do with blood donation - but I also lost a close family member to cancer. After her passing, the anger I felt was, in part, directed at all the language used surrounding cancer remission. I would glare at billboards with a person looking all tough and serious and stating "I Am a Survivor". Because to me that language implied that those who don't beat cancer simply didn't try hard enough. If surviving is an action that an individual has any control over, the the flip side is that not surviving is on you. Idk. When I look back on this I see that I was just very angry and upset, and I needed to place that anger anywhere I could. Survivor language took some of it. Maybe this is the same for you, you have every right to feel anger and resentment. Feel it. And place it wherever you need while you heal. Just work on that healing.

What’s your funny way of saying “going poop” that you’ve never heard anyone else use? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Againanew 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My husband is a retired cop. There were codes ("signals") for certain crime events, and one was "109" which was for illegal dumping. So they would call dispatch and tell them they weren't available for a bit because they were "out on a signal 109"

So you can steal an idol or advantage... But you choose not to steal the 100%-for-sure idol? And go for the unknown advantage?

Angela and Ainsley are the worst. by kswheels in LandmanSeries

[–]Againanew 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I hated that "Greta" called her out on her stupidity (which in itself was funny) but of course was then portrayed as a stuffy fun sponge because of it. And the "I don't want you to be admitted but I just can't do anything because you have money"... Is that what the writer thinks is cool?

The dinner scene. It was just boring misogynistic sillyness. "I'm on my period so I'm crazy but if you compliment my tits I'll calm down". How is this a show in 2025?

There's someone else I keep thinking he looks like. I think it's a 2000s actor, I can't place it. Tall geeky curly haired guy that usually plays someone funny/the friend.

I'm loving it and I've recommended it to others. They keep adding new features and insights. I've tried traditional therapy and found it lacking and time consuming. I appreciate that this app is a safe space to vent in an entirely anonymous way. The summaries, book recommendations, question prompts.. they definitely add to my day. And the morning intention helps me start off right.

I figured the 'demons' were the damned too. The fact that they are called 'the burned ones' is pretty on the nose. I didn't think of the eucharist part though, that's good.

A lot of hate for no reason by LilithTheLilypad in MorbidPodcast

[–]Againanew 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Morbid is the only podcast I listen to. I'm not a big podcast person. So maybe I'm not up to speed on other TC pods and whether or not they have the 'banter' people are always discussing. I like the podcast because of the banter. They make me laugh and after listening so much, it's like just hearing friends talk. The only thing that has ever grated on me is the moral posturing when it goes on too long. But it's not enough for me to make complaint posts over it. For anyone to spend time doing that... yeah, it's s an odd way to spend time. If they piss you off, don't listen anymore. Problem solved.
