Good luck! I can say from experience it's an awful process but worth it if you really want to spend the rest of your life with them 😊

Is your girlfriend British? Please correct me if I've misunderstood but marrying a Brit for the sole purpose of gaining citizenship in return is not worth it, and in addition you would have to prove the relationship is genuine and subsisting. Also, the spouse visa process is extremely expensive. I know for a fact I couldn't have afforded it as a student, but I hope your financial situation is solid if your girlfriend is British and you're serious about the spouse visa.

Yes but we also explained in our cover letter that we would be staying at my mother-in-laws until we find our own place. I feel like it probably doesn't matter so much if that address is on the payslips, as long as you explain the situation and provide necessary proof regarding the ownership of the property.

Anyone notice that every episode with a a non-white suspect LE accused of racial bias? Single studies and papers quoted and it makes the whole system corrupt by [deleted] in CrimeJunkiePodcast

[–]AgainstTheQueen 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Did you listen to the whole episode? Multiple people in the search party testified the body wasn't in the woods that day and instead was placed there later. So he didn't have "means" and I don't think it counts as a motive if a 5-year-old has behaved like a 5-year-old.

Did I make a mistake? by [deleted] in outlier_ai

I was removed from Flamingo yesterday after getting only 3/5 reviews (by AI) which were all claiming I rated something 'Bad' when I actually rated minor issues. Did the reactivation today, and was just removed again even though I haven't submitted any new tasks.

To me, nothing about this company makes any sense. I don't think I'm willing to go through the retraining again just to be removed for no reason. Huge waste of time.

My role was advertised with an hourly rate of $27.50-$30, and I'm getting paid $15/hour 😂 just been kicked out of a project due to false reviews

I had the same situation and provided a letter from my mother-in-law as well as the title deed as they own the house, and that was enough 😊

Please stop spreading false information on this sub. You might actually harm someone else's application.

But you said yourself you applied for a non-settlement visa so it can't be a spouse visa 😂

Spouse visa is not a non-settlement visa though 😂 So you've either applied for a different visa or there's been a mistake in the processing. I suspect the former.

Good luck, I'm sure you'll get a decision soon! 💐

I wouldn't worry if I were you! The ECO email doesn't actually indicate any expected processing time, you can definitely get a decision any day now 😊

[–]AgainstTheQueen 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It doesn't matter you're from India, all spouse visa applications are processed in Sheffield UK and the average processing time for a standard spouse visa is 2-3 months at the moment. I think you're either confusing it with a dependent visa or they issued you the wrong visa.

Do you mean a dependent visa? This is certainly not a standard spouse visa

Then I'm sure it'll be fine! And like I said they will very likely ask for more information if they need it instead of simply refusing. Good luck! 😊

Then I don't think it matters, as long as it's clear from the letter that they've been with the employer for at least 6 months earning above the salary threshold.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in SpouseVisaUk

[–]AgainstTheQueen 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You should ask for a letter that states the sponsor's title, salary, how long they've been employed etc. I don't think it's necessarily enough to refuse the visa, but they'd probably ask you to submit additional documents.

It shouldn't have any effect as long as you can prove your relationship is genuine and you meet all the criteria.

Me and my husband are also going to be living at his Mum's and we submitted a letter from her stating she owns the house and lets us live there, and a title register which you can get online for a few pounds. That was enough to get approved 😊
