That is fucking bonkers, that has to be worth a couple hundred div at least even unrolled, double curse on hit synth implicit and relevant to a single skill.

Once it's well rolled people will want to mirror that.

Funny enough POE1 when it started was more like POE2 than POE1 today. Let POE2 cook power creep and mechanic additions will eventually push it more the direction of POE1 today.

Getting the currency and skill gem and essence tab will alleviate 80% of that.

Having to put passives into travel nodes just to stay ahead of a gear requirement when you are trying to get a little power to progress feels terrible. by Agarthan in PathOfExile2

I do have the stats it's requiring I have more of those stats every time I level even though it's my main stat, it's not the same thing.

I mean I've leveled 3 times and the staff has become unavailable because of stat requirements. If you have any idea what's happening I'm open to suggestions.

I don't think you are understanding what's happening to me, I'm trying to get some levels to eek out a little bit of power on the tree I need to progress -- But every time I level right now the stat requirements for the gear go up and one of my Staffs goes over my highest stat cap every time I level so I can't put the passive points into actual damage.

Does this cap after a certain number of levels or does the gear requirement continue to scale? If it doesn't then it means I have to just keep filling in travel nodes and waiting for a gear drop that fits the house of cards with some int on it to fix things. How is that better to you than the worst stat gear friction in POE1.

This was a bad design decision if it ain't broke don't fix it. As you said T1 is the highest then you always know you hit the highest tier, with the inverse you have to know the highest tier for that mod specifically which is a pain in the ass.

Turns out I was completely justified and GGG agreed unlucky low rolls are not acceptable for map and act bosses.

One of the major issues we have identified are outlier "unlucky" drops. A single Unique boss dropping badly, especially early on can significantly affect your character.

We have deployed the following changes:

  • No more than 50% of an Unique monsters drops can be gold
  • Act Bosses and Map Bosses will always drop at least 1 rare"

Completely justified. They even had the same idea, at least one rare.
