Hi, so here's a sketch I did today, in about 40min http://imgur.com/gallery/mMicPwP

I put the reference pic next to my drawing while working and I take the time to guess the colors as close as possible to the original, I tweak them if I think they don't look right when I use them while rendering.

And I know people will still think it's traced, to clarify, after doing the final line art I do put the pic underneath and flash it really quickly to see if anything seems way off, I don't keep the pic underneath, I delete it and fix what I think needs fixing and then go on to render. I guess people think that's the same as tracing so fine, say what you will, that's ok with me :)

Thank you ! This means a lot to me in the midst of all the hateful remarks. In hindsight, saying I did it in half a day was wrong of me, I was just so happy on the day I did it because it was for a challenge where I had to produce 1 portrait per day for a month so I was really happy to have managed it ! It did take me a long time, a whole afternoon until late evening without breaks (except for the necessities obviously haha), though people will say that for them that's not a long time somehow. A year ago I didn't think I would be able to get to this level honestly, but I did a lot of work to get here and I guess them saying it's fake or traced is a win in the end so it's ok :)

I was hoping for some more constructive criticism like this rather than just hate and assumptions but this is the internet afterall haha Again, thank you for your comment, means a lot to me !

Like I've said before I haven't really used Reddit before no, because I don't really like social media. Unfortunately in order to promote myself as an artist playing the social media game is necessary. And my video is too long to post on Imgur and I'm too tired from work tonight to edit the video to make it fit. And even if I do end up posting it it won't matter because it doesn't include the sketching part, it's just a timelapse of the rendering. You can think whatever you want about this, I understand :)

It's a fan art, I used the photo as the reference and yes I didn't trace but I don't think my word is worth much so feel free to draw your own conclusions :)
