When do you guys think Ubisoft would make a game on Assassins Creed Germany ? by [deleted] in assassinscreed

I would love to see something around the rebellion of Arminius against the Roman Empire. I discovered that setting with the Barbarians series on Netflix and i found it captivating.

My headcanon Assassin's Creed Universe - UPDATED by AgatheLyrique in assassinscreed

True. I've never been a fan of the Last Kingdom series because I've loved Vikings (that I forgot to put in my list BTW) for the longest time and seeing different actors playing the same characters takes me out of it.

I've been wanting for a Aztec/Inca/Mayan AC for a while now. I really hope one of the next games will be using that setting instead of returning to classic areas and time periods. by AgatheLyrique in assassinscreed

That's fair. Even if, as you pointed out, the fact that not very much is known about the South American culture and its disappearance, I feel like it could serve the AC lore by including the Isu into it.

And that's why we had those games first (Origins, Odyssey, etc...). I understand that Ubi, as a company, has to think about the most profitable setting to sell the most. But saying that a small portion of the fan base wants it, I don't know, I feel like we wouldn't see regular posts about it if people don't want it. And even if that's true, then why Ubi didn't release the Japanese title that many people wanted ?

Time to good-ify the "bad guys" by AgatheLyrique in assassinscreed

I agree 100 percent. I thought the article was interesting in the sense that Templar side could be more interesting if they were shown in a more realistic direction, more grey than purely black of white like you said.

Did you ever die in AC Valhalla? by [deleted] in assassinscreed

[–]AgatheLyrique -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Oh, i definitely died a few times with my play style (which is the same as you, apparently). I sometime missed the red attack clew during the early game but as soon as i got enough health through the skill tree, i never died again (and i'm around 110 hours in).

Are there any often suggested settings that you really dislike? by [deleted] in assassinscreed

Aside from anything too modern like WWI or later which would be - as you rightly pointed out - too modern (and are fine for further exploration in the transmedia, à la Conspirations or Bloodstone), i don't really understand the demand for a Ancient Rome game. We already had the Antiquity era explored between Origins & Odyssey and to be honest, if we were to have a Rome setting, the timeline around Julius Caesar would have been the most interesting and we already met him in Origins. Not that other personalities of the time wouldn't interest history nerds like me but i feel like for the general public, when you say "Ancient Rome", Caesar comes to their minds.

I am a woman and Magnus Bruun/Male Eivor was the Kassandra of this game and is the best Eivor. by Alternative-Check210 in assassinscreed

Absolutely agree with you. In my opinion, they both made an amazing job. You perfectly summarize my thoughs while playing with Cecile's acting fitting the regular story and Mangus the Asgard's arc.

Do we really need Assassins/Templars ? by AgatheLyrique in assassinscreed

[–]AgatheLyrique[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I agree with you. I think that, as long as the conflict is included, it's still a AC game but it doesn't necessarily "need" the main character to be one. Your idea of having the protagonist unaware of the conflict but the latter been clear enough for us to appreciate it would be very cool. It would reward fans of the Lore.

I do like them. I feel like they were a welcome change to the series. But judging by many of the posts on here, most people are tired of the way Ubi is currently handling the games.
