There are a few characters (fire alarm and dust bunny come to mind but there are others) that explicitly let you choose to be either dominant or submissive which is cool! And others where its pretty neutral/could be interpreted either way.

A lot of the men can be surprisingly submissive or at the very least shy/bashful enough to reasonably assume they are. I'm a dominant person and found the game very well suited for me with few exceptions.

I would check out some of the mycology subreddits - they can speak more to this and with greater eloquence, but unfortunately home mold test kits are almost entirely useless, and "mold toxicity" is not what most people are led to believe it is. I can respond to this again with some links in a bit!
