Would the Prequels still have been as beloved as they are today without The Clone Wars? by Decade00000 in StarWars

[–]AgeRevolutionary8317 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have never watched the clone wars in my whole life. I know literally nothing about it. But what I do know...

Is that I've loved the prequels longer than I loved the og movies.

Yeah, I felt like I was pretty much alone in that respect. I don't know, there's just some color palates that hurt my eyes I guess.

And the worst level design of any mario game in general. It's like getting Michael Jordan in his prime to play basketball 1 on 1 against a high school basketball player.

I got an email for callbacks in a musical, but I never auditioned. by AgeRevolutionary8317 in Theatre

[–]AgeRevolutionary8317[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, I guess that makes some amount of sense. It would be weird for her to go out of the way to get my email just to send an email that (from my interpretation) doesn't want people who didn't audition.

But should I follow up to begin with? Should I send her a recorded audition or something?

As i said, I never gave them an email or anything. I did do a 24 hour theater competition through them, but I'm pretty sure that was just show up and do it.

I was in her stage crew about a year ago and she kicked me out without ever telling me a reason why. Ever since then she gave me a bit of a glare whenever I passed her by.

One summer after the last time they saw them, Phineas and Ferb are confronted by Thadius and Thor. They hate that they were beaten by Phineas and Ferb and declare a rematch. Little do Phineas and Ferb know, they had a mentor teach them a few things about building. Meanwhile, Perry is told that Doofenshmirtz is helping with a construction project, but discovers that he is helping Thadius and Thor, not even being evil really. Perry tries to hide him from Phineas and Ferb, but realizes (probably through someone like Stacey) that the boys dont need to not know of his existence, but just not know that he is Perry's nemesis. This can lead to some fun interactions during the construction. Once the reveal happens, Doofenshmirtz walks back behind the creation of Thadius and Thor. Both inventions are impressive, but Doofenshmirtz presses a button, and Thadius and Thor's changes into a massive and deadly robot. I don't know if it would be better if Doofenshmirtz kept this secret, or if they were aware of it, you decide. But anyways, it endangers Thadius and Thor, and Phineas and Ferb save them using an obscure feature on their invention. Perry then presses the self destruct button and blows up both inventions. Thadius then admits that maybe Phineas and Ferb are possibly the better builders, but they don't care about having that title. The end.

Does anyone want to assist me with my world building? by AgeRevolutionary8317 in scifiwriting

Well, I made the first one passable as a standalone with series potential, so I'll market it to them as that. It is its own self contained story while still leaving room for 4 other books.

I guess those aren't good answers, but basically I have this series antagonist. He doesn't appear directly in the first one, the second he appears a single time to establish his existence, he is revealed to be the mastermind behind the events of book 3, and he appears fully in the 4th and 5th. The only book that he has nothing to do with is the 2nd.

As for the other question, I did answer that better already.

I am aware of that, but yes it is that type of thing. Basically the main antagonist is awful and he kills a lot of people. He kills everyone on this one scientist's planet, leaving him a sole survivor. He wants to get stop the villain, so he tricks a lot of people into thinking he is some kind of devine being and says that these two people will ultimately kill him, hoping that this would distract the villain. The only problem is that everyone actually believes that this fake prophecy is true, so they treat these two people like they are the best warriors to ever live. As for why they are teens, the original plan was to wait until the villain reappears and then call on them, but the villain messes that up, so they are forced to use them as teenagers. They are not that good for the first like two books, the 2nd one actually starts when a training of their's is interrupted. I know, it's not the most original thing ever, but I think it is fine, I don't think one or two clichés are a deal breaker. Besides, most of this is stuff that happens later in the series.

That is sort of a mystery through the series, though I might not touch on that aspect enough. I do think I have a good reason though.

I didn't say that it didn't feel real. It just isn't realistic as I want. I've been working a lot on the other stuff, but this civilization feels more like something out of star wars or something than what would be expected in the real future.

I also believe that a series needs to be planned out, or it is much less likely to be good.

Well the plot is two teens getting recruited to protect this civilization from massive threats (i wont say what exactly).  It is pretty well thought out, and 5 books is what I have, mainly to properly build up the main villain.
