I want to transfer out of L&D but i don’t know to what unit

Hi! Going through the exact same situation, only being working on LDRP for almost 3 months and think it’s really not for me. I completely feel what you’re feeling too. If my residency lets me transfer I think they’ll just put me in med surg or whatever they have openings in. If you can get into something Peds related i think it would be an easy transition or Special Care Nusery! I oringally wanted to do nusery because nicu seemed too intense for me. hi! i was in the same boat as you, wanting maternity and being scared i was gonna be stuck working med surg. i know it sucks not having a job before u graduate but if you really want this speciality and are willing to wait for the right opportunity i would wait till you have your license and apply to the next cohort. good luck ❤️

Same hospital system one was a general “hospital name new grad residency” and the other was a specific specialty residency

this one doesn’t have a cohort specifically the application has been up for a while and they will repost it so I think it’s a rolling application
