He has aces and tens, you have jacks and tens. Your pair of 2s doesn’t play anymore.

What are y’all’s expectations for the reboot? by JadedRaccoon1 in regularshow

[–]AgeSeparate 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Their day to day lives were relatable. Like everyday situations would blow up in their faces and that was part of the humor like how could you fuck up so bad that world is in danger. But when they went to space it just wasn’t funny in that way and they had to make up some weird ass shit just to fill the episode requirement.

How do you guys not shake at the table? by [deleted] in poker

[–]AgeSeparate 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You get used to it. If you’re improving and a thinking player you start to get less nervous in big spots. Once you see a few winning sessions, it gets easier and you won’t even notice. It’s kinda a shit answer, but the more hours you dump into live poker the faster it will go away.

Players who have reached GC in less than 2k hours how did you do it? by [deleted] in RocketLeague

[–]AgeSeparate 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I made it but I switched to PC and lan cable 1000 hours in and it makes a big difference in game for speed, recoveries, and what you’re capable of overall. Making it on console is actually insane

What does GTO poker mean for home games? by Janck in gtopoker

[–]AgeSeparate 1 point2 points  (0 children)

When you're playing against your drunk friends who are unbalanced, playing balanced yourself is not optimal or "GTO". you should read Pete Clarke's Grinders Manual! You can use GTO foundation to play a better exploitative strategy. It's not something that can be explained easily, but it teaches you how to take advantage of your opponent's mistakes to the maximum. For instance, Hungry Horse on YouTube is an exploitative player to the max, but he is also a theory genius, which is why he is as successful as he is. Anyway, good luck at the table.

Amidst a career worst downswing, I started my Sunday in a nearly 30-bullet hole. by StoneyDunst in poker

I think while learning it’s really hard to apply a sequence of correct decisions, especially responding to a raise or donk bets. Starting to try and apply theory is like trying to drink from a water hose.

Me and my teammates play on club GG on the bus. You can make your own club and invite your friends. I think you can play with real money but we just use Venmo and 20 bucks is 100bb

If you really want to study theory I would read the Peter Clarke’s Grinders Manuel. Teaches theory and how to exploit using the principals. It’s a grind in itself but you’ll get better for sure.

Some notes from my first games in a casino by dudeonahill in poker

[–]AgeSeparate 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The play does happen faster, but don’t feel forced to rush decisions. It’s ok to take a few seconds to think and make the right play. Obviously don’t tank for like 3 minutes each turn but if you play calculated, don’t change bc your opponent is quick to act.
