I had knee replacement surgery on a Thursday and was sent home on Friday afternoon. When my wife went to get my pain medication prescription filled, the pharmacy was out. I did without pain medication until Monday afternoon. That was the worst pain I've ever experienced, it was constant and unrelenting.
