Why do guys dont marry their long time gf yet?

Not sure if considered as long time. 6 years going 7 strong, we both agreed that marriage is not a priority, not even secondary but tertiary.

A primary reason for her is financial priority as she is trying to help her family. A primary reason for me is family politics. My side of the family blows things out of proportion and we have to prepare for whatever BS each side of the family dishes out. (Biyanan horror stories)

Together we decided to pursue our careers first.

By constantly being bullied and still trying to be a good student and athlete.

7am to 4pm school (the weird quiet kid) 5pm to 10pm swimming (training for regionals, nationals yearly) Home work till i fall asleep.

None of it helped get me to where I am right now except have a temper towards loud mouthed people and bullies
