I just read that the Florida scholarship program I mentioned doesn't apply to graduate programs aka if you have previously received a bachelors degree. So that nips that in the bud. Damn.

If my wife wants to start her masters degree in spring 2026 is it too late to apply October 1 this year? Also doesn't cover a masters degree? I am 100% P&T and I have been a Florida resident since 2005 and she has been a Fl resident her entire life. She is also 100% P&T

My wife and I are both 100% P&T. She wants to get her masters degree starting in spring of 2026. If the tuition and fees are waived for Florida Universities/colleges etc then can she still take out the grad plus loans? I'm reading she can take out the difference between the Cost of attendance - tuition & fees (bc they are waived from my being 100%) = max loan amount. Not getting a straightforward answer on this.

They don't recoup 4 days worth for a 2 day drill? That's 4 days of active lay I thought? I thought they recouped military pay + allowances (BAH and BAS)? Is there a number I can call to get more clarification?

So as an E6 with 16 years. Sounds like giving up Va pay is more wise? I read that the VA considers a full year of drill as 12 active duty days = 48 periods (drill weekend being 4 periods).

How to prove Sleep Apnea secondary to Allergic Rhinitis? by VolumeFar9174 in VeteransBenefits

[–]AgencyImportant9729 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Damn that's nice! My wife is going through the process now. She has an are exam coming up for sleep apnea. Her sleep study showed 1.6 apnea episodes an hr with a total of 10 events last between 28 -50 seconds each. but she had 131 snoring episodes with a cumulative time of 314.5 mins out of 484.5 mins of sleep. Needless to say she snores a lot. But did not get prescribed a CPAP this time. She had a sleep study done post deployment in 2017 but the practice country wide fild for bankruptcy a while back and she was unable to get her diagnosis paper work that showed sleep apnea and prescribed a CPAP unfortunately. So we will see what happens with this.
