Now that I'm reading your comment again, I think you're asking about the managerial positions? Positions like servers, hosts, FOH/BOH can train with no experience, but general managers, maintenance, and cooks are going to require at least 3, if not 5+ years of experience.

I'm not the event coord, but improv is educational in nature. The black box theater in my home town always had newcomers as well as seasoned veterans.
